Songwriter Trysts is an organization dedicated to supporting songwriters in their journey to write, record, release, and perform their music. With a strong direction of building a safe community through online and in-person events, promotion, education, and support. All activities taken out by Songwriter Trysts are to inspire passionate creatives to create new music, collaborate, and promote in a positive and professional way.
The Retreat
Our first retreat is coming to the Gold Coast in 2024 from May 3rd to 5th!
It will be a 3-day event over a weekend in May starting Friday night and finishing up Sunday afternoon. There are limited spaces and for the success of the event and everyone involved, we will be holding interviews and reviewing applications to attend this songwriting retreat on the Gold Coast.
The Podcast
Songwriter Trysts podcast is an intimate space where artists gather to discuss the love of songwriting. Writing songs and the journey that one makes into this ancient art form is powerful stuff. Songwriters have something to say and this is a space to delve deeper into their songs, where they come from and what they are creating.
The Nights
Meet up in person to connect with other passionate songwriters, and have a bit of fun, in a safe space where you can co-write new songs. On the night we break up into smaller groups, write a new song, and share what we have with the rest of the group at the end of the night.
The Workshops
Join our songwriter all-day connect event. Everyone gets to share with the group with a meet and greet, write together, and run through one of their original songs.
It’s time to meet! let’s hang out for a whole day. co-write, listen to what other people have been doing, and share. Feedback, lunch, and co-writing all in one day.
